My photography was established in London's highly competitive Fleet Street newspapers. I worked on the staff of  The Daily Mirror, Today, and, ultimately, as the Senior Photographer of The Daily Express. My style draws directly on that rich photojournalistic background.

Assignments have taken me around the globe covering a diversity of major events: the release of Nelson Mandela; the British Royal Family - including the marriage and funeral of Princess Diana; the Gulf, Bosnian and Rwandan wars; the fall of the Berlin Wall; the Sydney Olympic Games; the Boxing Day tsunami; etc.

In 2000 I moved to Sydney. As a freelance photographer I concentrate on real life stories, TV and film production, celebrity portraits, feature articles and wedding and commercial work. I frequently work for a broad cross-section of major Australian and overseas magazines, top-ranking television production companies, and private clients.
